We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Tax Associate to join our boutique accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax accounting and be well-versed in financial report interpretation, general ledger reconciliation, and technical accounting. The Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for small business and individual tax preparation, tax controversy, and debt resolution.

Duties:

• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
• Assist with the provision of IRS/FTB audits and appeals representations
• Coordinate the preparation of tax returns for clients, including financial report writing and budgeting

Experience:

• 2 years of experience in tax accounting
• Strong background in financial report writing, general ledger reconciliation, and technical accounting
• Experience with accounting software and an understanding of financial reporting standards
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

Requirements:

• CPA Preferred
• EA Preferred
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• The ability to work independently and in a team environment
• A desire to advance their career and grow with our firm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 - $120,000.00 per year
