Key Responsibilities:
● Demonstrate broad based industry expertise, thorough knowledge of tax law and the ability to provide advisory services to the clients
● Complete technical review on appropriate clients
● Understand most aspects of the client’s business concerns as applicable to tax laws
● Complete research on complex tax matters
● Successfully conducts tax planning for clients.
● Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
● Ability to effectively utilize software to complete job (UltraTax and CCH and Engagement)
● Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations
● Recognize problems and propose reasonable solutions
● Effectively communicate complex issues and circumstances
● Write clear and concise business correspondence and communications with clients and staff
● Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points
● Keep the Senior Tax Manager or Principal informed of all important developments surrounding the engagement.
● Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
Qualifications:
● Maintain CPA or member of the Bar
● Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Taxation
