Tax Research Manager jobs in Bridgeport, CT

A philanthropic foundation is in search of a Project Manager to support their Tax team. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you’ll provide leverage to the entire team as they work through the compliance process including risk identification, budget management, assembling metrics, tracking deadlines and more. You’ll also closely partner with other leaders, stakeholders and teams within the foundation to ensure success and transparency on upcoming initiatives and as a way to enhance operations and efficiencies across the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects or processes simultaneously, with a variety of stakeholders. You’ll also have the innate ability to operate from a big-picture/goal-oriented perspective, with the attention to detail in order to drill down to manage tactics and deliverables. While prior tax experience isn’t required, an interest and willingness to learn is highly preferred.

Note this opportunity requires you to work a minimum of 9 days per month in office.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing small to medium-sized projects/processes
• Organized and process-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
• Service oriented, and motivated to add value and build long-term relationships
