Being a Teacher Aide helps teachers resolve classroom issues and conflicts. Monitors and evaluates students' performance. Additionally, Teacher Aide typically requires an associate degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher Aide works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. You can be a Behavioral Tech and a Sub Teacher at the same time.Please Note: The starting rate for a Behavioral Technician is $17.50 per hour, $ 18.50 for RBT.Please Note: A valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance CardIVP" is required to be considered (or ability to get one).Responsibilities: As a Behavior Technician, youll be a part of a school-based special education team. This team works with school districts to deliver the highest-quality special education services to students with special needs. Youll provide assistance to the teacher in the implementation of all program components such as the Clinical Program, Instruction, Special Education Services and Physical Fitness.
