Teacher Aide partners with one or more teachers to prepare lessons and instruct students. Engages with students individually or in small groups to answer questions and facilitate activities. Being a Teacher Aide helps teachers resolve classroom issues and conflicts. Monitors and evaluates students' performance. Additionally, Teacher Aide typically requires an associate degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher Aide works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.   • We currently have 1 full-time and 1 part-time opening. Monthly bonus between $275-$625 per month depending on level of education and experience.     As a member of our teaching staff, you will:

    • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
    • Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
    • Support our center’s success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
    • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and state licensing authorities,
    • Implement classroom curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
    • Must be physically able to use am i-pad with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
    • Ability to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
    • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
    • All center staff applicants must meet state specific guidelines for the role

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
