Teacher High School jobs in Winston Salem, NC

Teacher High School prepares lesson plans and instructs students in an assigned secondary school. Develops and implements grade appropriate course work, activities, and assessments to meet the academic needs of children in a grade 6-12 classroom setting. Being a Teacher High School evaluates and monitors student's performance. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Teacher High School participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. Resolves classroom issues and conflicts. May participate in implementing special programs for students. May supervise teaching assistants. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher High School occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
    Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers
    Ability to be dependable and punctual PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Experienced or have working familiarity with virtual education FLSA : Exempt
