Hiring full day and substitute positions for the 2024-25 school year. The position works 1404 hours annually from August-May and closely follows the USD 353 school calendar. Classroom staff typically work 7-8 hours a day when preschool is in session.
Teaching assistants work in a preschool classroom providing aid to the classroom teachers. The classroom staff work directly with preschool age children in small group settings or 1:1 with a child providing supervision and assistance during learning activities, meals, snacks and outdoor play.
The starting pay for this position is $14.50 hour. Full day positions are eligible for a benefit package to include paid time off.
Substitutes fill in for regular staff as needed.
