Job Title: Administrative Assistant
FLSA: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Work location: Spokane Teaching Health Center (on site)
Hours: Part time, 20-25 hours per week.

The Spokane Teaching Health Center is an educational consortium and the Institutional Sponsor for Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Transitional Year and Rural Training Residency Programs as well as the Sports Medicine Fellowship. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Essential Functions:
· Coordinates and schedules meetings for the Executive Director and the GME Manager.
· Acts as a liaison and contact for the STHC Board of Directors and the Executive Director.
· Answering emails on behalf of the STHC Executive Director related to requests for meetings.
· Prepares meeting materials for the Executive Director, GME Manager, and the STHC Board of Directors including the monthly board packet, designated committee meetings and the GMEC quarterly meetings.
· Under the direction of the GME manager, the administrative assistant will be responsible for helping with annual onboarding of new residents and coordinating all orientation week materials.
· Assisting with virtual interviewing for STHC Sponsored Programs as needed.
· Participating in meetings with the program coordinators and administrators’ group.
· Weekly expense input for the Executive Director to the Finance Director.
· Taking and preparing minutes for all assigned meetings on behalf of the Executive Director.
· Handling scheduling requests for the Senior Program Manager and DIO of the Providence programs as needed.
Educational Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar position.
Job Specific Requirements:
· Computer competency with Microsoft operating systems.
· Organizational, public relations and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
· Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a cross functional team.
Pay: $17.50 depending on experience.
