Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Visual Information Communicator/ Visual Graphic Designer position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at the ACC-APGG HQ-Strategic Initiatives group.

We're in search of a team member with understanding of the Army, Air Mobility Command (AMC), and Army Contracting Command (ACC) mission, vision, and challenges. As our visual information communicator, you'll possess the ability to translate complex topics into captivating graphic designs within tight timeframes. The top candidate will be transforming raw data into visually compelling representations for senior leadership with modern design/infographics style. Specializing in visual storytelling and marketing, you'll craft presentations that elevate our visual communication efforts. Partnering closely with subject matter experts, you'll turn information into clear and impactful concepts.

You'll take ownership of every aspect, from initial concept to final completion with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint. The top candidate will create effective presentations, alongside producing award certificates, visual displays, posters, and fulfilling all graphic requirements.

Skills / Experience Required

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience, working with or for military experience required as well as marketing and proficient with industry standard design tools (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign)


• Experience with corporate branding, logo design, corporate presentation design


• Leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design


• Play a crucial role in communicating messages effectively and engaging audiences across various platforms and media


• Creating graphics, logos, illustrations, and other visual elements for various projects


• Taking photographs for use in marketing materials, websites, publications, and other media


• Shooting and editing videos for promotional purposes, instructional videos, or other applications


• Creating animated content for videos, websites, presentations, or other multimedia projects


• Designing and creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites


• Developing visual identities and branding materials for companies, products, or events


• Creating multimedia presentations using a combination of text, graphics, animations, and videos


• Designing layouts for printed materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and magazines

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in design (graphic, interaction, visual communications, product, industrial)

Security Clearance

A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
