Major, well respected poultry processor is looking for a Shipping Supervisor for a plant in Eastern NC.

Responsibilities : Individual will :

• Train, direct and develop hourly employees
• Provide leadership in scheduling shipments to meet customer requirements
• Define and implement new procedures to improve shipping efficiency

Requirements : Successful candidate will have :

• 4 or more years of supervisory experience in shipping and warehousing of perishable items
• Previous refrigerated shipping experience
• AA or BS degree desired but not required

In addition, individual should be familiar with HACCP, SPC and plant efficiencies as it relates to yield, lbs. / birds pmh, line speeds and automatic process equipment.
