Electrical Technician

$25 - $30 Per Hour Benefits Progression to Engineer

Canton, Ohio – Commutable from Akron/Canton/Massillon/Cleveland/Youngstown

Do you have electrical experience looking to specialize and boost your career within a team of experienced Test Technicians that has clear progression routes to senior engineering positions?

On offer is the opportunity to get into the electrical engineering industry with on-the-job training as part of an integral onsite team that is responsible for testing new and existing products manufactured in house.

This company is focused on growing their teams for a strong future with exciting projects going into 2025 and are looking for a candidate that wants to technically develop as they work on a variety of projects.

You will provide testing on a variety of new electrical equipment before it goes off site to be installed by the field technician team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on new equipment that has been developed in house, whilst being able to progress through the ranks.

This role would suit someone with existing experience that wants to be part of a team to learn and progress in the industry.

The Role

• Commission testing new equipment and electrical systems.
• Progression and inhouse training to develop skills.
• Work directly on new equipment going out to be installed.

The Candidate

• Experience with switchgear products.
• An understanding of electrical schematics and testing.
• An ability to learn and work as part of a team.
