Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Technical Illustrator independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. - Title: Technical Advisor - Process POSITION SUMMARY: As an Ammonia / Syngas Process Engineer you are responsible for performing process technology related engineering works as well as with leading of project teams and compliance with quality, timeline, and costs. POSITION DESCRIPTION: You will function as a technical specialist who makes decisions and provide recommendations that have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Your tasks will include the following activities in engineering, delivery of process deliverables and site services for ammonia and syngas plants based on KBR technologies. Participates/lead in the development of proposals and design packages for KBR licensed Ammonia, syngas, and hydrogen technologies, which includes establishing process design basis, development of process options, and optimization of selected design. Performs detailed process design calculations and develops process design simulations. Participate in project kick-off meetings, PFD/P&ID reviews, or other client-facing meetings as necessary. Participate as process advisor in startup and commissioning activities. Maintains effective communication with project team members, sales team, and technology leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. HSSE & Compliance: Strong commitment to Zero Harm and HSSE policies and procedures Demonstrates commitment to compliance with all laws, regulations and corporate policies ensuring the highest of ethics in business conduct, including but not limited to the KBR’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, ITCO and other relevant anti-corruption policies. REQUIREMENTS: BS in Chemical Engineering required 10 to 15 years relevant experience in Ammonia/ Syngas and related process design (process designs, FEED, field work), with minimum 10 years Ammonia experience Solid knowledge of Chemical Engineering disciplines, process design tools and procedures Operational experience is a plus.
