Seeking a qualified Technical Writer for Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA). Candidates will play a crucial role in translating complex technical information into easily understandable content for Department of Defense and Commercial customers of KHA.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and updatetechnicaldocumentation, including user manuals, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, training Program/Syllabus of Instructions, and specifications for aerospace systems, components, and equipment.
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts within the company to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness oftechnicalcontent.
3. Organize and structure complextechnicalinformation into clear, concise, and user-friendly formats that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Research and analyzetechnicaldata, specifications, and engineering drawings to gather information for documentation production.
5. Ensure consistency and adherence to company guidelines, style guides, and document templates.
6. Revise and edit existingtechnicaldocumentation to improve clarity, eliminate errors, and incorporate updates.
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to gather information and validatetechnicalcontent.
8. Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
9. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end-users to continuously improve the quality and usability oftechnicaldocumentation.
10. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the aerospace field.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such astechnicalwriting, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complextechnicalconcepts in a clear and concise manner.
3. Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.
4. Proficiency in using document authoring and publishing tools, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, or XML-based systems.
5. Familiarity with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and best practices related totechnicaldocumentation.
6. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Knowledge of aerospace systems, including aircraft, spacecraft, or related components, is highly desirable.
8. Experience intechnicalwriting or documentation production, preferably in the aerospace or a closely related industry.
