Junior Telecommunications Analyst

We are looking for an entry-level Telecommunications Analyst to join our team and perform open-source research on events impacting DoD infrastructure and consolidate information into short reports and other briefing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Perform research on current events impacting DoD infrastructure
• Consolidate information into quick-turn briefing materials
• Perform impact analysis
• Review and provide contributions to other infrastructure-related reports

Requirements:

• United States Citizenship
• Secret Clearance
• Experience performing research and writing reports
• Exceptional time management skills
• Ability to work independently with limited oversight
• Ability to learn new topics quickly
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience analyzing telecommunications systems and networks
• Experience analyzing weather systems/events, earthquakes, wildfires and/or power outages
• Experience using Geospatial tools (e.g. ArcGIS)
  

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required

Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $85,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
