Job Description:

• The Teller is responsible for providing a consistently positive and professional customer service experience demonstrating a high level of sales proficiency in person or on the phone. The individual handles customers’ initial needs, opens deposit accounts, conducts routine paying and receiving functions, and contributes to the growth of the bank by promoting and cross selling of bank products and services.

• Full-time and part-time positions available

Essential Functions

• Conduct all credit and debit transactions in compliance with established bank policies and procedures

• Maintain proper cash on hand and preparing daily settlement of teller cash and proof transactions

• Exercise judgment when applying holds and making check cashing decisions.

• Assist with daily bookkeeping operations of the bank, large items, Fed returns, NSF items and the balancing of various general ledger accounts

• Assist customers with customer service issues and account maintenance

• Process incoming/outgoing wire transfers

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience a PLUS

• Previous teller experience a PLUS

• Previous cash handling experience a PLUS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
