Responsibilities:

The role of the Assistant Terminal Manager is to provide operational assistance for the Terminal Manager at their assigned yard in the following manner:

· Serve as the first point of contact for the facility, when vehicles arrive or are being removed. Confirm all pickup and delivery documentation.

· Identify and communicate all vehicles that need maintenance and/or repairs at facility to the Terminal Manger or Assistant Terminal Manager immediately.

· Stage, fuel, and wash/detail vehicles in preparation for upcoming deliveries.

· Identify and communicate all damage and hazards at the facility Terminal Manger immediately.

· Upon repair completion or vehicle returning from detailing, inspect vehicle to ensure that repairs are completed and/or vehicle was cleaned correctly, and is functioning properly.

Schedule/Conduct bi-weekly exercising of each vehicle.

Ensure cleanliness of facility grounds.

Attending all staff meetings involving facility.

Computer data entry as needed.

Acceptance/Storage/Pickup & Delivery of Vehicles

· Documenting date and condition of vehicle upon arrival at storage facility. Report any issues you may come across to the Terminal Manager.

· Documenting Date and Condition of vehicle upon leaving storage facility to DSP/Customer. Report any issues you may come across to the Terminal Manager.

· Ensure the proper Leasing Companies Inspection Reports for each vehicle arriving at or departing from the facility are properly completed.

Management of visitors and drivers

· Ensure all employees, contractors and visitors follow safety rules and facility policies.

· Assist with training, assignments, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as directed by Terminal Manager.

· Any other duties pertaining to Driver communication and Facilities Management as requested.

· Enforce and evaluate policies and procedures, make suggestions for improvements to Terminal Manager.

Maintain Credential Inventory

· Maintain inventory including Transit Plates, Registrations, Toll Transponders, Gas cards and any other equipment assigned to the facility.

· Any additional responsibilities assigned by CLR.
