Documents and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Additionally, Test Engineer ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Requires a bachelor's degree of Engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Test Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. We seek an experienced Software Tester to serve as part of ACI’s Government Program that supports Product Management Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS). 

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    Provides subject matter expertise in software verification and validation (V&V) and quality assurance (QA) methodologies, tools, and processes. Analyzes system requirements, develops and executes test plans, and identifies, documents, and reports software defects. 

    Collaborates with a cross-functional team (including Configuration Management, Cyber Security, Technical Documentation, Technical Analysis, Software Engineering, and Cloud Engineering personnel) to verification and validation (V&V) activities for augmented reality (AR) applications.

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Proven experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing techniques. 
    • Strong knowledge of software quality assurance (QA) methodologies, tools, and processes.  
    • Experience supporting software development teams and familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle. 
    • Experienced with Agile framework and ability to apply best practices using industry standards. 
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.  
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities. 
    • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 
    • Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a US Government clearance is required, and all applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. 
    • Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. 
    • Must possess a: High School diploma and 20 years' experience or, Associate’s degree and 16 years' experience or, Bachelor’s degree and 10 years' experience or, Master’s degree and 5 years' experience. 

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Experience testing virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) applications. 
    • Experience with Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) and Watchtower.  
    • Experience with Army Mission Command Systems (e.g., Nett Warrior, Joint Battle Command-Platform, etc.) 
    • Experience with Atlassian Software Suite including Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo, and Zephyr test management products. 
    • Experience with scripting and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C ). 
    • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.

    Pay Band Information:

    $70,000 - $155,000
