Job Description

Manager Engineering Test & Certifications is responsible for the overall scheduling, performance, and success of Ingalls Shipbuilding Test Program. Manager duties include supervision of Test Engineers responsible for the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 6 years of progressive technical and/or supervisory experience in research, engineering, and design or equivalent; High School Diploma with 14 years of experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Must possess leadership skills to mentor/work with peers and other disciplines. Prior leadership or managerial experience.
