Pro-Active Engineering has an opening for a Test and Program technician.  In this position, you will program and test printed circuit boards (pcb) used in various industries.  You will also trouble shoot the boards that fail. 

Essential Functions

1. Adhere to the company’s ISO Quality Management System.
2. Review and disposition nonconforming product and determine appropriate resolution.
3. Work toward continuous improvement of assigned area.
4. Attend and report at daily production meeting.
5. Work with Engineering department and customers to create durable and easy to use test equipment.
6. Debug and repair failed assemblies, test equipment and returned product.
7. Track and record failures to create a debug database.
8. Program and functionally test circuit boards.
9. Assist in the creation of programming and test procedures.
10. Perform preventive maintenance of equipment as required.
11. Debug complex issues with assemblies using PCBA schematics.
12. Solder thru-hole components per IPC-A-610 class 2 standards.
13. Final inspection of thru-hole and surface mount components.
14. Follow internal assembly process documentation ensuring product meets internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
15. Maintain test fixture inventory.
