In addition, Third Party Billing Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Third Party Billing Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. We are looking for a reliable and detailed billing professional to handle accounts receivables and collections.Essential Functions
- Familiarity with standard industry contract terms and billing methods and ability to pay attention to contract details as required to satisfy all billing requirements in accordance with the contract.
- Work with Project Managers to process monthly billings on time per contract for assigned projects as required (including in all 3rd party systems).
- Provide schedule of values, insurance certificates and other documentation per contract specifications.
- Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
- Obtain executive manager’s signature on all pay applications and waivers.
- Identify, monitor, and manage accounts receivable and client collection issues, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining client relationships.
- Deposit checks via online banking and record payments/deposit in QuickBooks.
- Process credit card payments.
- Complete assigned month end closing procedures by calendared due date.
Job Qualifications- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1-2 years of accounts receivable experience in the construction industry
- QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Familiar with QuickBooks and able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computer, 10-key calculator, and copier.
