The Third Party Billing Specialist I documents and inputs payment records in accordance with industry standards and government regulations. Prepares and processes medical invoices to support timely and efficient billing operations. Being a Third Party Billing Specialist I prepares and distributes applicable documentation and resources for patients. Collects and updates patient billing and insurance information to maintain medical billing information systems and ensure organized and accurate records. In addition, Third Party Billing Specialist I liaises with patients, medical providers, and insurance companies, resolving billing inquiries and gathering additional patient information as necessary. Remains knowledgeable and compliant with proper medical and insurance claim processes. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Third Party Billing Specialist I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Party Hosts will be scheduled as birthday parties are scheduled. Birthday parties are offered Friday evenings and Saturday/Sunday afternoons.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Party Hosts deliver excellent service to birthday party guests. Their primary responsibility is to ensure each guests has a safe and positive experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures birthday party guests are greeted warmly and welcomed to the party.
2. Cultivates positive relationships and maintains effective communication with parents, children and other staff. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions.
3. Ensures that party rooms are kept neat, clean, organized and appealing to guests.
4. Continually strives to improve guest services by listening to and responding to all feedback, concerns or complaints in a courteous and timely fashion.
5. Applies all YMCA policies dealing with member services and staff.
6. Actively participates in department and branch staff meetings and/or related trainings.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. At least 15 years of age
2. Ability to work with children of various ages

7. Complete before first shift: YMCA cause & culture training; membership-specific computer training
8. Complete within 90 days of hire: Child Abuse Prevention Training; BLS CPR; First Aid (provided by YMCA)
9. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community and successful clearance of background check
