Tire Technician Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing tire installations, repairs, and maintenance services to ensure the safety and performance of vehicles. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive service and maintenance, along with the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Install, balance, and repair tires on various types of vehicles.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to tire performance and vehicle handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and offering recommendations for tire-related services.
• Assist in sales of tires and related automotive products.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a service technician or in automotive repair is a plus, but not required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for tire installation and maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency with hand tools, and power tools.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.50 - $16.35 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
