Tire Warehouse Manager jobs in Palm Bay, FL

Pay: $15.50 per hour, Job is both; Working in a Warehouse (approx. 50%) and Driving (approx. 50%), Need to be able to lift up to 70 LBS often. - No CDL Required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process, package and ship orders accurately
• Operate/Drive Vehicle
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Inspect product for defects and damages
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
• Organize warehouse space
• Operate forklift to move and stack product
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately (Tire weight up to 70 LBS)
• Check, verify and fill customer invoices
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects, accidents or violations

· REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Must have good decision-making skills and the ability to work and stay calm under fast-paced situations.
• Excellent Verbal or oral skills.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Ability to work independently.
• Certified to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift or move heavy products repetitively (up to 70LBS).
• Work collaboratively and professionally in a team environment.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peer employees, customers, and the general public.

COMPETENCIES:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
