Members Title Group, LLC (“MTG”) is currently hiring a full-time Closing Officer to work out of MTG’s Brookfield office.
Qualifications
· Knowledge about title insurance and the real estate closing and settlement process
· Experience working in a real estate title agency, especially with handling closings
· Ability to work collaboratively with others and coordinate multiple files
· Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
· Professional behavior, appearance, and attitude, with good judgment
Responsibilities
· Gather pertinent information from involved parties in transactions, meticulously prepare closing documents, and effectively communicate instructions to all stakeholders.
· Create settlement statements, process check disbursements, and initiate wire transfers in accordance with prescribed closing procedures.
· Provide exemplary customer support by offering comprehensive guidance on company escrow services, procedures, and transaction statuses, ensuring clients are well-informed and satisfied.
· Execute various clerical tasks as necessary, including but not limited to handling incoming calls, processing orders, scanning documents, and performing general office duties with precision and efficiency.
· Conduct closings with professionalism and attention to detail, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
· Remain adaptable and responsive to emerging needs, undertaking additional duties as required to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Compensation
· Salary in the range of $45,000 to $65,000, depending on candidate’s skills and experience
