Position:

Tool Room Supervisor

Summary:

The Tool Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations and activities within the tool room department of a manufacturing facility. This role involves managing a team of technicians and ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tools and equipment used in the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup and operation of tooling activities.
• Train new staff to competence with role and TTD expectations.
• Set and manage daily production schedule, expedite jobs/tools, and alter schedule as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Lead with a continuous improvement mindset by identifying and implement process enhancements as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any missing or damaged tools
• Coordinate with various departments to understand tool needs and ensure availability
• Oversee materials handling processes to ensure proper storage and organization of tools
• Maintain documentation related to tool inventory, repairs, and maintenance
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tool management technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
