Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a**Tool Mechanic**inWelford, SC. Our client is asuccessful tool manufacturing company.The**Tool Mechanic**is responsible forthe maintenance, repair, and fabrication of various tools and machinery used in manufacturing processes.

SHIFT:

MON-FRI: 8AM-5PM

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A TOOL MECHANIC INCLUDES:

• Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to identify any signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on tools and equipment, including disassembly, cleaning, replacement of parts, and reassembly.
• Test repaired tools to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Keep track of tool inventory, including ordering replacement parts and maintaining stock levels.
• Ensure that all repaired tools meet safety standards and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS OF A TOOL MECHANIC:

• Proficiency in mechanical systems and knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in the industry.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inspections and repairs.
• Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Clear communication skills to interact with colleagues and provide training when necessary.
• Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant mechanical field is often preferred.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High school Diploma/GED
