Overview:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dental imaging systems and patient assessment, ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area.
Duties:
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the facility
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- Utilize HIPAA guidelines to handle patient information securely
- Perform basic patient assessments including vital signs measurements
- Maintain aseptic techniques in handling dental equipment/instruments
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively
- Willing to be cross trained for dental procedures including taking the Radiology Certification
- Assisting dentist in the back for cleanings, SRP's, Fillings, Crowns, Crown seats, taking x-rays, Limited extractions.
(Your main focus will be front desk receptionist answering phone call's, scheduling patient's, calling patient's, taking payments. For the first couple weeks you will be being cross trained for dental assistant which includes cleaning rooms, setting the room for appropriate procedure, assisting the dentist. We are a smaller office but getting busier by the day. We would love to welcome someone with the goal to learn, ability to grow in this field and willing to gain experience.)
Qualifications:
- Experience in dental imaging systems is preferred
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques for infection control
- Ability to measure vital signs accurately
- Experience OpenDental software for administrative tasks is a plus
- Strong organizational skills for managing patient appointments and records
- Previous experience in dental assisting would be beneficial
