Job description
North Branch Distribution Co. is a FedEx Ground contractor and has immediate openings for Full-Time and Part-Time Delivery Drivers.
North Branch is one of six contractors operating from the LaCrosse WI terminal.
Monday - Friday with Saturday schedule rotation required.
Driver Expectations
Loading and Unloading: Preparing the delivery vehicle by loading packages or goods and unloading them at their designated stops.
Route Planning: Efficiently planning and navigating delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel efficiency.
Package Handling: Safely handling packages or items, ensuring they are secure during transport to prevent damage.
Customer Interaction: Providing excellent customer service by being courteous, timely, and responsive to inquiries or concerns.
Adhering to Regulations: Following traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols to ensure both personal safety and the safety of the delivered items.
Documentation: Keeping accurate records of deliveries, accurate package scanning, obtaining necessary signatures or confirmations, and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it's in proper working condition and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Adaptability: Being flexible and adaptable to handle unexpected changes or additional tasks that may arise during the delivery process.
Time Management: Effectively managing time to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Drivers will be dispatched from the La Crosse FedEx Ground terminal and make pick-ups and deliveries in Stoddard, Westby, Hillsboro, Viroqua, and Ferryville. Rural / Country driving is the job.
