Local property management company is seeking a dynamic, career focused Debt Collector for our rapidly growing property management company. We are in search of a professional and mature individual that has the ability to understand financial difficulties with residents so negotiable terms can be agreed upon. Expertise in suggesting and the implementation of quality solutions to aid in assigned tasks. Candidate will be proactive, professional and have the ability to stay on task and complete projects and reports with accuracy.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Advising debtors of possible consequences of non-payment

• Communication with clients via post, telephone and emails
• Contacting individuals who owe money to the company
• Securing payment of debtors
• Investigating past claims of financial difficulties
• Accounts Receivable/ administrative duties
• Ensuring all contact is in line with the regulatory requirements
• Cold calling
• Handling a variety of customer service calls from people of all backgrounds
• Data Entry
• Adhering to all tasks assigned
• Foster a teamwork-centered environment

Requirements:

• Prefer previous experience concerning debt collections
• Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
• Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
• Well organized with excellent time management skills
• Some knowledge focused on overall compliance procedures
• Initiating and negotiating final settlements, as necessary, within agreed guidelines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of comfortability centering around public speaking
• Stern attitude but is able to demonstrate empathy

Bonuses and/or commision will be considered based on previous experience and money collected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
