Frankfort’s best lobbying firm is looking for an Office Manager to help keep our team moving in the right direction. The position will be part time during most of the year, but full-time during the legislative session, January – April each year.

Duties will include:

• Taking notes and crafting summaries of legislative and executive branch hearings, committee meetings, and task force meetings.
• Scheduling meetings for Top Shelf team members and clients with legislators and members of the Executive Branch.
• Ethics Compliance Work – lobbyists must be compliant with Kentucky’s strict legislative and Executive branch ethics laws. Our Office Manager will assist the Chief of Staff and other team members in filing timely reports throughout the year.
• Event Planning – Top Shelf sponsors or hosts several modest events during the year, and the Office Manager will assist with details, planning, and execution of these events.
• Office/Administrative Work – We operate an office near the Capitol, and the Office Manager will work with team members to maintain a professional environment, stock supplies, and maintain office equipment.

• Compensation and Benefits will be based on Experience
• Hybrid Work Environment – some duties will have to be completed in the office in Frankfort, but the schedule will remain flexible much of the year.
