Top Corporate Compliance Executive provides leadership and direction for an organization's compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices. Ensures that all activities follow regulatory requirements related to the governance of the organization as well as any industry-specific or location-specific laws. Being a Top Corporate Compliance Executive oversees internal controls and auditing systems that monitor and report on regulated activities and processes. Develops risk-based compliance testing of existing procedures and controls to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. Additionally, Top Corporate Compliance Executive evaluates and implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. Establishes communication and training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Position Summary:
The Designated Shift Leader (DSL) is an hourly front of house teammate who assists the
management team with the opening, closing, and overall operation of the restaurant. The DSL
ensures all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to our Flat Top Grill
standards. The DSL assists fellow teammates to ensure overall guest satisfaction while working
as a member of the management team.
Skills, Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:
✓ Assist in leading daily shift meetings and be knowledgeable of any upcoming specials,
events, menu changes, weekly focuses, etc. as dictated by the management team.
✓ Perform management duties such as cash handling, food line checks, store walk-through,
food and cooler temperature logs, etc.
✓ Make sure all standard operating procedures are being followed at all times
✓ Act as the manager on duty when there is no salaried manager in the building and as a
support manager when there is
✓ Assist teammates with any guest issues; perform appropriate discounts (Student,
birthday/email club, etc.)
✓ Handle all teammates issues and inquiries during your shift as needed.
✓ Handle all guest issues and inquiries during your shift as needed.
✓ Handle all vendor issues and inquiries during your shift as needed.
✓ Understand the flow of business, scheduling, and move teammates around as necessary.
✓ Understand the projections and budgets and how to execute a shift to meet these goals.
✓ Oversee all daily, weekly, and running side work and any additional projects or
responsibilities as given by the management team are completed in a timely fashion
✓ Run closing reports at the end of night and update the P&L
✓ Perform any additional projects or duties to assist the management team as assigned
✓ Assist in food and liquor purchasing and inventory as needed
✓ Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations and answer guests’
questions, assist in greeting, seating, and thanking guests.
✓ Assist servers and bartenders in greeting guests, running drinks or food, taking payment,
or pre-bussing their tables.
✓ Assist the back of house teammates by maintaining the Fresh Food Line, expedite bowls
by the grill, and assisting the dishwasher as needed.
✓ Delegate tasks to teammates to inspire a teamwork-related environment.
✓ Make occasional deliveries or complete random errands, such as picking up supplies
from a local business.
✓ Perform general physical activities including extended use of your arms, legs, and body;
may include climbing, lifting up to 50lbs, balancing, moving, and bending.
✓ Ability to remain active and on your feet throughout the duration of your shift
✓ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
✓ Food Handler’s Certificate (ServSafe)
✓ Basset Certification
✓ Any additional certificate that may be required in the employers’ city, state, county, etc.
✓ Must pass a Background Check
