    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • B2B prospecting which includes identifying and qualifying brands, companies and events contributing to the sales pipeline through Salesforce.com.
    • Daily prospecting calls.
    • Use Salesforce.com to manage a pipeline.
    • Accurate and consistent Salesforce.com operation including but not limited to logging calls, creating tasks, completing tasks, creating opportunities, entering proper notes and database management..
    • Identify key decision makers within new accounts.
    • Manage inbound leads and nurture early-stage opportunities until determining their fit.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

    • Cold Call Expert – must be able to hit a high volume of daily calls. This position requires a strong ability to connect with people, disarm, challenge and intrigue in minutes.
    • Qualify Leads – you have a knack for asking the right questions to determine whether the account is qualified for sponsorship.
    • Organized  must take detailed notes of pertinent information. Must keep clean nomenclature of accounts, opportunities and contact information.
    • Self-Starter – ability to take direction and run with it; desire to overachieve.
    • Teamwork – Must be comfortable in a supportive, team-orientated role.
    • Resourceful – preference to utilize tools within the organization to find resolve.
    • Results driven – able to operate with both high output and quality and must have the utmost integrity in their work.
    • Detail oriented and creative – thoughtful and methodical in all communication
    • Desire to learn, grow, and receive constructive feedback.
    • Experienced and confident in value-based selling
    • Impeccable listening skills, and the ability to react quickly in conversation.
    • Not intimidated by difficult objections, rejection, tough personalities, various decision makers, and maturely handle the highs and lows of a professional sales environment.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written resulting in a clear, concise and articulate experience for the client.
    • Can articulate the TANDEM Partnerships values and successfully connects, collaborates, and innovates with other departments in the organization.
    • Able to articulate the benefits of corporate sponsorship sales.

    Qualifications: Candidate must meet the following qualifications:

    • 1-2 years experience in business development, sales, or related field experience
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
    • Ability to articulate overachievement in previous experience.
    • Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts. 
    • Ability to clearly articulate what drives consistent performance through the highs and lows of a sales profession.

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Preferred 2-3 years in role with revenue-based individual/team performance KPIs.
    • Previous agency or corporate sponsorship sales experience

    Compensation is salary commission =  $50,000 - $60,000 (DOE)

    With OTE =   $78,000-88,000

    We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.

    Commission – This position is eligible for the 2024 Sales Commission Plan. Additional details will be as set forth after your initial start date.  

    Benefits – This position is eligible for a health and welfare benefits package including medical, dental & vision insurance.

    401k Retirement Plan – This position is eligible to participate in the company’s 401k retirement plan.
