Top Division Controller directs and guides the overall accounting functions of the division. Establishes and maintains the division's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives. Being a Top Division Controller prepares financial reports and presents findings and recommendations to top management. May need to plan and analyze budget and cost statistics for internal control use. Additionally, Top Division Controller requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Division Controller manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. We will be hiring people we think will make a great fit for permanent roles, but there will be a trial period in which we will be testing the ability for people to perform. The crews will work for a period of time to perform the necessary trimming work, and then there will be a gap between final decisions and the remaining harvests. PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR A GAP IN HOURS AFTER THE FIRST HARVEST. All hours will remain constant once the final decisions are made.
The people who qualify based on performance will be asked to continue full time.
There will be room for advancement outside of trimming duties, and we are trying to build a quality team to remain with us long term.
Duties:
- Trim and prune plants according to specific guidelines and standards
- Remove unwanted leaves, branches, and buds
- Operate hand tools and equipment necessary for trimming and pruning
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain trimming equipment
- Experience in plant cultivation, growing, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools used for trimming and pruning
- Ability to work in a greenhouse, landscape, or farm environment
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating plant requirements
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and ability to irrigate plants as needed
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and prolonged standing
