Summary: This position plans, directs and controls activities of the operating unit to accomplish budgeted financial objectives and customer requirements. The successful leader is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence in support of short-term and long-range objectives and strategies – to be achieved through effective planning and performance in the disciplines of Human Resources, Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, EHS, Engineering and Quality. Ideal candidate must know and be responsible for the P & L and must be highly experienced with a manufacturing role. It's preferred for a candidate that has experience with plant transformation, building trust and improving culture and morale of a manufacturing plant. This person must have experience with lean manufacturing and holding accountability. Prefer a candidate that has aluminum extrusion experience with a non-union (24/7) facility with at least 500 production/130 salaried employees.
