Job Description: Entry Level Bookkeeper

Our growing accounting office is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Part-time Entry-Level Bookkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in bookkeeping and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for our clients using Excel and other accounting software.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Greet clients and assist with intake forms.
• Organize and maintain client files.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Note: This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided.
