    We are currently seeking a full time Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor to add to our team of professionals.

    The Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor position is a semi-autonomous role requiring considerable time, effort, professionalism, collaboration, efficiency, integrity, coordination, and determination. The individual filling this role must be willing and able to fulfill the entire suite of duties, goals, and responsibilities of this position with minimal guidance, direction, and/or supervision.

    This position reports directly to the Environmental Health and Safety Manager.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Effectively and routinely train on site and field staff on health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Continuously monitor and inspect on site and field work locations to ensure compliance with existing health and safety policies and procedures.
    • Regularly inspect on site work and field locations to identify and address all safety, health, and environmental risks.
    • Understand and enforce all applicable regulatory requirements and industry standard best practices.
    • Directly oversee incident investigations and related communications, actions, and responses.
    • Supervise on site partners, vendors, suppliers and agents performing tasks related to environment, health and safety.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Must travel as required to successfully fulfill the duties of this position (overnight travel expected to be no more than 20% - frequent day travel required).
    • Must complete and submit measurables and/or reports as required.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree in environmental health and safety related field preferred
    • 2 years’ experience working within an EHS position covering the operation of heavy equipment and trucking.
    • Competent with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to write and communicate technically.
    • Ability to successfully discuss sensitive information at a high level.

    Work Environment:

    • Employee must live within 30 minutes of Monticello, MS
    • The employee filling this position will be expected to work the days/hours required to fulfil the full suite of duties and responsibilities assigned to the position.
    • Job functions will be carried out in a vast array of environments including but not limited to maintenance facilities, job sites, customer facilities, vehicles, planes, agricultural sites, landfills, end user facilities, residences, airports, hotels, etc.
    • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel.
    • May be required to push, pull, move or lift up to 100 lbs.
    • Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
    • Regularly required to travel great distances using all methods of transportation.
    • Regularly required to travel for work related duties.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
