Essential Duties and Responsibilities | The primary purpose of the is to promote healthy, safe, and resilient campus operations to protect the campus community and environment in support of the University's core mission. The department is committed to creating a safe campus environment through the implementation of comprehensive and professional safety and emergency management programs. This position assists the Director with daily oversight and management of the Environmental Health and Safety Division. This position directly supervises and leads a team of safety professionals under the assigned division. The incumbent will also be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing health and safety policies and programs, and assist with future program development. The Assistant Director of Environmental Health and Safety is responsible for assisting in the management of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) division.
