Job Summary: The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer will provide leadership of the Development Authority’s commitment to environmental stewardship and safety program management. The EHS Engineer is responsible for the development, planning, execution, and assessment of employee safety and environmental compliance programs and will provide support to the Authority’s operating divisions to aide them in meeting or exceeding all environmental and safety regulations. The EHS Engineer will be a subject matter expert with respect to NYSDEC and USEPA environmental regulations as well as OSHA, PESH, and NFPA regulations. The EHS Engineer will provide procurement and technical oversight of consultants hired by the Authority for environmental and safety related services.
