In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of our clients' properties. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the work activities of a full crew
• Perform various grounds maintenance tasks such as raking leaves, mowing, pruning, and edging
• Operate light landscape equipment and use hand tools safely
• Conduct job site inspections and complete job site checklists
• Maintain daily timesheets for all crew members
• Ensure the safety of the public and crew during transit and on job sites
• Understand and execute planting procedures
• Ensure all tasks are completed within labor goals and meet company quality standards
• Report any issues to the Field Supervisor
• Participate in safety meetings and model proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Respond to customer requests within contract allowances
• Work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently with field staff and management
• Apply basic chemicals safely, if certified
• Demonstrate proper horticultural practices and basic knowledge of pests and diseases
• Perform various types of pruning and soil preparation
• Install annual color, plants, and trees
• Perform Winter Service tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• 2-3 years of experience in landscape and grounds maintenance
• Ability to operate light landscape equipment and use hand tools safely
• Capability to visually identify at least 10 plants by name
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from Field Supervisor
