ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead material handling team responsible for cycle counting, claims, scheduling, and other related administration. Serve as a subject matter expert for physical inventory levels and discrepancies.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Assist in planning, assigning, and directing the work of material handling team
Check that the tracking of inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records are accurate
Report out-of-balance conditions to Inventory Manager and Production management
Schedule production to meet customer demand/orders
Receive and inventory materials and parts
Operate forklift when necessary to support production needs
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Previous Inventory and/or warehouse operations experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to deliver technical information via email or spreadsheets
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
Previous inventory and/or warehouse operation experience preferred
Previous buyer experience preferred
Previous shipping experience preferred
Experience with ERP systems
Experience with DataPro, Sugar CRM, FileMaker preferred
Ability to work in temperatures below freezing up to 100 Fahrenheit outside when necessary
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
Ability to work a flexible work schedule to support production, including weekends if needed/on occasion
