Our client, a large Salt Lake City law firm, seeks an Employee Benefits/Executive Compensation Associate with 2-5 years of law firm experience to join its Tax and Estate Planning practice group.
This position will focus on employee benefit plans, executive compensation counseling, Internal Revenue Code, ERISA compliance issues and will also provide exposure to the employee benefits and executive compensation aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other transactions. An LLM in tax would be helpful. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, demonstrate a commitment to ethics, be highly motivated and hard-working, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidates must be a member of the Utah Bar or be willing to take the Utah Bar. If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, candidates must be a member of the Bar of another US state.
Compensation is highly competitive and the firm offers excellent employee benefits. Approximate salary range is $163 - 183K, depending on background and experience.
