  • COMPANY INTRO

Agribusiness Risk Services (ARS), is a modern claims administration and risk services company that specializes in the Farm / Ag space.  The core mission of ARS is to deliver superior value to our insurer clients and their policyholders, through niche subject matter expertise, innovative process engineering, technology, professionalism, and discipline of operation.

CLAIMS & LOSS CONTROL ASSISTANT POSITION INTRO

ARS is seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team in a support role and help us deliver world class and loss control services.

Please note that while Farm / Ag experience is not required, we are seeking an organizational star with at least 5 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a claims environment. ARS will train the new employee on the nuances of the Farm / Ag space and ARS processes.

A few words from ARS President
    Chris Frechette:

"Both the potential and the limitations of any organization are dictated not by the cumulative resumes of individuals but more so by their capacity to share a focused vision and resolve and bring out the best in each other.  The work we do can be complex and urgent and is always consequential.  At ARS, we take our responsibilities very seriously while remembering not to take ourselves too seriously.  We value the power of sharing difficult tasks and we treasure the increased satisfaction of celebrating accomplishments together.  We share core values that include accountability, professionalism, quality, and service.  And we’re proud of the fact that none of these values are merely aspirational platitudes; they are our “table stakes."

If your experience aligns with our requirements, and you feel this job posting describes an environment that you feel you could be challenged and rewarded by; where you can be part of something special, if you are willing to stretch not just your technical capability but your curiosity and creativity, then we invite you to apply to join us."

    WHAT WE’RE OFFERING TO YOU:

    • You will work in a supportive, team-driven environment, as part of a team dedicated to being the "best in the world."
    • You will work in a fast-growing, modern, technology-based company, where your success will be aligned with the company’s success, and where your performance will correlate to recognition and advancement.
    • You will receive a competitive compensation package, with base annual salary, annual bonus, and company-provided benefits.  You will have 100% employer-paid health insurance, generous PTO, and a 100% vested retirement plan with company match.
    • You will be working in a 100% remote position, for an employer that proactively supports its employees’ comfort and safety.

    PRIMARY DUTIES:

    • Learn the Farm / Ag insurance business under the tutelage of the ARS team. Help ARS be “the best in the world” at what we do, and do not ever settle for mediocrity.  Use every assignment as an opportunity to learn and grow as a professional.

    • Process new claim intake and setup processes, along with assignment responsibilities as delegated.
    • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.  Communicate with compassion and clarity to policyholders regarding claim or inspection process expectations.
    • Facilitate incoming telephone and correspondence processes, answer and route calls, provide backup and handle messages and requests promptly and professionally.
    • Review, revise, and process inspection invoices for payment processing.
    • Facilitate new inspector onboarding, including documentation, data collection, and company process training.
    • Process assignments to independent inspections and contractors through various portal and assignment processes.
    • Research and update missing or inaccurate contact and demographic information.
    • Monitor inspection progress and maintain inspection tracker status.
    • Update scheduled reporting and support ad hoc reporting requests.
    • Consolidate, organize, and centralize existing documentation spread among various shared drives.
    • Assist with formatting training materials, process documents, and other business intelligence.
    • Perform all duties within the authority granted and according to company procedures.  Escalate issues proactively if an exposure has the potential to exceed an authority limit or escalation protocol. Provide recommendations as appropriate.
    • Perform all duties with a high degree of urgency.  Ensure that all tasks are properly executed on time, 100% of the time.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
