Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in assisting our clients with a wide range of legal tasks and projects. Responsibilities
Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, pleadings, and other legal correspondence with precision and attention to detail.
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials and depositions by organizing case materials, exhibits, and trial binders.
Manage case files, documents and records in compliance with legal and confidentiality
requirements.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses and other parties involved in legal proceedings to gather information and provide updates on case status.
Support attorney with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars and coordinating meetings and calls.
Maintain professionalism, integrity and confidentiality in all interactions and tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a law firm, corporate legal department or similar setting.
Proficiency in tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal
concepts clearly and concisely.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Paralegal certification or completion of an accredited paralegal program preferred.
Knowledge of specific practice areas such as litigation, criminal law and family law is a plus.
