The Opportunity

As our first full-time design hire, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our product's future, ensuring it's functional, intuitive and enjoyable for our customers. You’ll play a pivotal role setting the direction for our future product design. 

This role involves:

• Deep Customer Understanding: Immerse yourself in our customers' pain points and workflows to design solutions that genuinely address their needs — including parts of our developer experience.

• UI & UX Execution: As our only designer, you’ll lead the user experience and user interface design in close collaboration with our Engineering team, helping us deliver a high quality, highly functional product experience.

• Design Foundations: Iterate on and own our foundational design practices, including our design system and user research methodologies.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has 6 years of experience in B2B SaaS software product design, with a portfolio that showcases deep understanding of design principles and practical solutions to complex workflows.

• Is passionate about creating simple, elegant, and enjoyable user experiences.

• Has a strong foundation in both user experience and user interface design.

• Is eager to take on a ground-floor opportunity in a rapidly growing startup, with the ability to do high-quality work as a self-directed individual contributor.

• Demonstrates excellent communication and collaboration skills, including with remote team members.

* We have a preference for candidates that are available to work full time on-site in Boulder, CO. We are open to considering exceptional candidates from outside the Boulder area, though we do ask for a commitment to travel and spend ~one week per month with our on-site team.
