Position Summary: The Infant Teacher’s Aide will assist the Infant Lead Teacher in all classroom management activities necessary to care for MTCA’s youngest students. He/she will assist the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate educational environment that encourages children to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
Key Roles / Responsibilities:
· Ensure that the basic needs of students are met through feeding, changing/diapering, and providing social interaction.
· Supervise all daily activities to ensure a safe environment.
· Understand and comply with all Texas State Licensing Rules and Regulations.
· Maintain daily student health logs.
· Assist in the daily cleaning of designated facility areas and classrooms.
· Communicate effectively to other staff members, students, and parents.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.

· Able to read, write, and speak English.
· Will work indoors but may be required to be outdoors occasionally to monitor playground activities.
· Must be able to lift up to/over 50 pounds.
· Must be able to frequently stand, kneel, stoop, sit, and walk.
· Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment.
· Must be able to efficiently see, hear, and respond to the needs of children and any emergencies or conflicts that might occur.
· Potential overtime may be required.
· No travel required.
