Total Safety is looking for a Pipefitter (NCCER preferred) with Deluge Systems experience who can perform installation, maintenance and repair duties. Installation of pipe, fittings, valves and piping systems in an industrial setting. Fire protection experience is a plus!

Requirements:
• Must have TWIC card.
•3 - 5 years pipe fitting experience in the fire protection, petrochemical, or oil refinery related industry preferred.
•Experience in maintaining job site documentation, i.e. time sheets, As-Built drawings. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
•Hand tool, power tool, and pipe fitting experience.
•Reliable transportation to and from job site and/or employer premises.
•Ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to forty pounds.
•Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to forty feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
•Ability to work alternative shifts or weekends and to travel upon request to meet customer installation schedule.
SKILLS:
•NCCER in Pipefitting
Working Environment:
Shop, indoor and outdoor industrial environments. May be frequently exposed to cold, hot, wet, humid, outside weather conditions and vibration. Works in customer environment. May be exposed to high pressure, chemicals, and traffic. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or GED and at least one (1) year of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry.
