Training Manager – Building Materials Manufacturing Plant

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Training Manager to oversee the training program within a building materials manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and facilitating comprehensive training programs, crafting SOPs, and generating training materials to ensure the continuous growth and development of the workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires and annual training requirements, ensuring alignment with company objectives and safety standards.
• Manage departmental budget and procurement of training materials, optimizing spending to maximize the effectiveness of the training program.
• Provide training and support to managers, supervisors, and stakeholders involved in employee development efforts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Oversee logistical aspects of employee development events, including scheduling, coordination, and evaluation, while serving as a backup for safety training sessions.

Requirements:

• Preferably possess an associate degree or equivalent academic background, experience, or training.
• Demonstrated experience in developing training programs and SOPs within a manufacturing setting, with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, with excellent presentation abilities to effectively convey training materials.
• Skilled in utilizing various multimedia training platforms and methodologies to engage and educate employees effectively.
• Capable of evaluating, researching, designing, and implementing effective training tailored to individual needs, with a thorough understanding of safety standards and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
