    As a Medefy Software QA (Quality Assurance) Analyst you will be responsible for improving and owning the current QA processes, as well as potentially grow and lead the QA team in the future. The Quality Assurance team works across the enterprise to build products that deliver high quality product features and delightful user experiences that function correctly at launch. This position is responsible for functional testing during feature development, working with software engineers to improve quality, and ensuring standard methodologies are followed for reliable and fast testing. You will also collaborate with product, design, and other relevant teams to onboard new product development and communicating when functionality is ready for review or being released.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Functional testing during feature development.
    • Regression testing during UAT testing.
    • Monitors debugging process results investigate the causes of non-conforming software and trains users to implement

    solutions.

    • Identifies, analyzes, and documents existing automation gaps and propose solutions.
    • Communicating the status of product testing and readiness.
    • Creating processes, mechanisms and tools that shape product delivery.
    • Improve and maintain product quality through manual and automated testing.
    • Evaluate mid-project changes for testing impact.
    • Ability to build a strong automated QA process and framework
    • Collaborate with the Product team on bug prioritization process.
    • Partner with Engineering teams to develop and maintain functional, regression, integration and/or end-to-end testing.
    • Own the metrics for success. Define, measure, and report on metrics. Make decisions based on this data.
    • Recommends improvements to QA processes, framework, and toolset.
    • Gathers quality metrics for reporting purposes.
    • Produces reports based on these metrics to management and stakeholders.
    • Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with

    emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection.

    • Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts for various software applications
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    You must have at least the following:

    • 4-5 years as a QA analyst working with production software at scale.
    • Solid understanding of QA workflows and test automation best practices
    • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
    • Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into test requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Product design experience
    • Experience designing and implementing testing plans for products.
    • Experience working with agile teams.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.


    It would be great if you have:

    • MBA Preferred
    • Shown ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple departments and business stakeholders with varying levels

    of technical expertise.

    • Experience working in a continuous deployment SaaS environment.
    • Strong project management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage a demanding workload.
    • 2 years’ experience in any of the following areas: health insurance, employee benefits, insurance brokerage, HR,

    telemedicine, general healthcare

    Supervisory Duties: No supervisory duties.

    Travel Requirements Percentage: Minimal – 20% or less


    Physical and Mental Requirements:

    • Occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office machines, etc.
    • Prolonged periods of being stationary at a desk and working on a computer
    • Communicating with others to exchange information via typing
    • Must have close-range clarity of vision with or without corrective lens
    • Ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems; Multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy, able to

    perform duties from multiple sources

    • Interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers, clients, and vendors and under adverse

    circumstances

    • Must maintain regular attendance and be punctual
    • Must be able to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions
