Total Quality Management Senior Manager oversees and manages the team responsible for the implementation, administration, and measurement of total quality management programs. Leads the team in providing training, tools, and logistical assistance for quality initiatives. Being a Total Quality Management Senior Manager monitors the development of new testing tools, measurement methods, and systems to ensure products and services meet quality standards. Leads cross functional teams in studying and developing effective tools, methods, and systems to ensure that the products and services are of the highest quality. Additionally, Total Quality Management Senior Manager creates standards to measure quality results and to drive continuous improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Six Sigma or Kaizen certification. Typically reports to a director. The Total Quality Management Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Total Quality Management Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Job Summary

    The Senior Quality Technician works with and supports the quality organization and technical center departments to continuously improve the performance of the key product and system components in an expanding product portfolio. This role assists the quality engineer, lead quality technician, manufacturing, and operations to meet customer requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Support Lead Quality Technician in daily activities.
    • Support incoming inspection, autopsy activities, and production control operations.
    • Inspect, evaluate, and provide disposition of components used in the production of electromechanical products.
    • Support quality requirements for components to ensure correct parts are received and verified for product quality.
    • Obtain detailed print specifications from internal customers.
    • Support the development of the inspection methods and ensure compliance with product specifications.
    • Support the filing and maintenance of all records associated with the Quality Department.
    • Review product inspection history to make future inspection decisions.
    • Communicate with quality engineers regarding quality requirements.
    • Participate in MRB & NCR meetings to support a resolution of supplier quality issues.
    • Send Quality reports to Purchasing and internal customers as required.
    • Reinforce standard communication and reporting in quality issues.
    • Work with purchasing to swap out defective components.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
    • Adhere to federal and state regulations.
    • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
    • Predictable and reliable attendance.

    Position Qualifications

    • Associate Degree and a minimum of three (3) years minimum experience with supplier quality or a High School Diploma and a minimum of five (5) years in a supplier quality role are required.
    • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gages, and a variety of other-dimensional tools is required.
    • Working knowledge of quality systems and processes.
    • Exceptional mechanical aptitude (i.e., intuitive understanding of mechanical processes).
    • Proficient with Excel, agile data analysis tools are required.
    • Ability to conduct root cause analysis.
    • ERP system software knowledge is preferred.
    • The ability to create MS Presentations is preferred.
