Nordex is an engineering-driven company, with major operations regarding gear manufacturing, CNC machining, and assemblies, for the medical device, robotics, automation, aerospace, and defense industries. We are looking for an experienced, attentive, and self-motivated Quality Manager to join our team.
Nordex's Quality Management System (the "QMS") is certified AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015. The Quality Manager will be the primary person responsible for maintaining and improving the QMS according to those standards. This will include being the point person for all quality audits, implementing quality improvement plans, and undertaking corrective and preventative actions.
The Quality Manager will also be responsible for managing Nordex's inspection department, with the assistance of Nordex's Inspection Supervisor. He or she should be an expert at utilizing precision inspection equipment; ideally this would also include knowledge in programming and utilizing a Coordinate Measurement Machine (though performing routine inspections would not be your primary responsibility).
